Fishing was a big part of my life before I moved to Washington DC. When I moved here a few years back I didn’t he whole corporate job thing. Still I did love the thought of staying in corporate furnished rentals in Washington D.C.

I go the business license for it and surely after I was running tours and starting a small little shop. The best part about this was being able to be outside most of the day.

Our business was currently focusing on new swim jigs that would be able to be used in both fresh and salt water. We started an online store and these things started selling like hot cakes. I loved the fact that now I could work for myself and enjoy what I do.
This was starting to provide me with enough income to start to think about what’s next for the future. I’m a huge believer in giving back to the community, so started a program to take kids fishing on trips that they wouldn’t be able to experience otherwise.
Here in Washington DC, there’s a disparity that needs to be fixed between families. I thought that if I can give these children an opportunity to try something that they might fall in love with, it would be all worthwhile. I didn’t need all of the money in the world, just enough to keep me going and help others along the way.
Moving into a corporate furnished rental in Washington D.C. humbled me a lot and I was seeing what I could be grateful for. Having this luxury place that was affordable was all that I needed while living my amazing dream.
